Recently, many investors take into account climate change risks when making investment decisions. Meanwhile, the natural capital risks such as deforestation are also focused, and risk assessment tools and guidance for investors have been developed over the past year.
In order to share these trends, the MS & AD Insurance Group has prepared the official Japanese edition of “Financial Institution Guidance: Soft Commodity Company Strategy” published by CDP and the Global Canopy Program (GCP). In commemoration of its launch, we hold a symposium to see how companies and investors should tackle deforestation.
